BANCNET GLOBE MOBILE BANKING

In partnership with Globe Telecom, BancNet gives its cardholders the convenience of doing ATM transactions such as balance inquiry, fund transfer, and bills payment via Short Messaging Service (SMS).

To make it highly secure, access to BancNet Mobile Phone Banking is through an MPIN (Mobile Banking Personal Identification Number) known only to the cardholder.  "Account keys" are used instead of the customer’s real account numbers to keep them confidential. In addition, the service will pass through the existing BANCNET security infrastructure that has been reliably working over the years in the banking industry.

Member banks with the BancNet Mobile Phone Banking service are Allied Bank, Asia United Bank, Chinatrust Commercial Bank, Citystate Savings Bank, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) and Security Bank Corporation. Other member banks will offer the service soon.
